Re: COVID-19
The health and safety of our staff, students and customers have always been a top priority at Diver City SCUBA. We do understand there are many precautions in place during this outbreak and until told otherwise we are planning on remaining open during our regular business hours. The cleanliness of our store and rental equipment has always been very important to us but during these times we are planning on taking extra precautions;
- Continual use of antibacterial products to clean our counters and debit machine
- Added sanitation wipes around the store for your use
City of Winnipeg pools have also shut down until further notice so we will have to postpone any of our courses until they have reopened. Once we are able to continue with our classes we want to ensure our students feel safe by informing you of our regular cleaning standards of rental equipment;
- Fresh water rinse, cleanse with a 10% bleach solution, fresh water rinse again and hang to dry after each use.
Although we do take these precautions to make sure that our rental equipment is sanitary; we do, as always, recommend students and divers to purchase their own gear as it is the safest option.
We are still planning on hosting any courses that we had scheduled, as we do have limited numbers per class. If you have signed up and do not feel comfortable attending, we would like you to contact us to discuss the options.
